the forces form the society, I buy that. But without individuals to act within those forces, the society is non-existent.
Think of it this way: what if planets can choose the laws they wish to follow? Some choose gravity, other choose a law we're unfamiliar with. Those that choose gravity form a "society", but start to think it isn't all it's cracked up to be. So they look around, and try the other thing. Or something else that's still unknown. IF planets could do that, then the concept that the society is a device of the individual choice makes sense, right?
Well, unfortunately, planets can't..but people can. That is why we devised a gov't and system that DOESN'T ALLOW the tyranny of the majority over the minority - even though we all seem to think it does (which is just the result of poor public schools and the gov't using them as a means of promoting its power).
