Yeah, no more. Chips are commodities. Intc has been successfull
so far on fat margins by being the first to produce faster chips.
THey could still use that strategy, but there needs to be an
underlying demand for faster chips on the consumer market (not
just the enterprize market). That would mean a windows software
that will need a pentium 3 minimum requirement kind of scenario.
But with the net becoming the computer, todays problem is at
the bandwidth rather than the cpu.
