A@P does well because he shorts a stock with a small portion to start and then if it runs wild he shorts more on the way up. But some of the people on the board get burnt because they don't have the funds to keep shorting as it goes higher. An example is IMON. He started shorting at 9. It ran up to 15 or so and he shorted more on the way up. Then when it crashed he did well. But if you can't afford to keep shorting then when it keeps rising you can be hurt.
He only shorted 25% of what he wants to on SEVL. He even said it might go higher from here and then he will short it at mcuh higher levels with moree capital. With all of the news on SEVL I'd be surprised if it didn't gap at least a point or two on Monday. Then maybe a short squeeze will get it to 10. Maybe a good short there.
This weekend will be interesting this stock is heavily shorted and people will be bashing it while others will be hyping it. The Sh#@t is really going to be flying. I would rather be long than short now, unfortunately I am neither
