Re: "Did anybody here expect today's monster move up? I didn't. If anything, I thought we'd end the week down considerably."

I didn't either. Gosh, I sure hope Justa isn't still holding his breath waiting for that correction. <G> Seriously, I'm a little under-weighted in equities, based in part on Bob's warning about a possible correction.

Best wishes,

I2

Bob,

Did anybody here expect today's monster move up? I didn't. If anything, I thought we'd end the week down considerably. Will be anxious to hear Bob B's comments.

I didn't expect the move. I think we may have a couple of very interesting weeks ahead of us. Euphoria is back!

I now believe we may get that serious correction like last year. If we move over 10,000 in the near future I believe it will be time to raise some serious cash (40/60 range maybe by going to more cash in IRAs, 401k, etc.). The psychological factors that will begin to affect the market could cause a serious downdraft.

Analysts will start to talk about discounting next year's earnings, "10,000 is such a big number so fast" (my favorite that I have heard already), CNBC will be more bullish than ever.......HA! We do live in interesting times.

I am looking forward to hearing our Starship Commander's thoughts. There is no perspective better than Bob's.

I did not expect such a large move. Bond market is being whipsawed.
