IMO, The Dell/IBM deal is a non-event for Dell and a very minor advantage to IBM (relative to IBM's size) It is sort of like Ford announcing they will buy car tires from Goodyear (apologees to the author of that quote).

If the bears are right and there is a big PC slowdown again, Dell will make a great short. Dell won't go down easily until there is more evidence of this though.
