Two comments, both good, in reverse order of importance. 1) Pax Dariana is thus far not a fragile thing. It's like a neighborhood where good decent people hang out and keep no strict account of whose cup of flour is in that bread in your oven. 2) You're one of the few guys I know who can combine anger with wonderment and make the mix sound so real. Do not apologize for presenting real night thoughts as politely as you do. If anybody considers their content impolite - well (to be nice) I wish I had such a sheltered life.
