Interesting to note that the article you posted has this quote: "If a company is situated in a high growth industry and a volatile, competitive environment and it insists on repurchasing shares instead of reinvesting economic cash flow for the future, it probably means that management can not find any suitable investments for the future. This is a big red flag"

So for that Lucent guy who wonders why Cisco doesn't pay out dividends, there is your answer. Read the article posted by JBC. It looks like you need a primer on high growth companies.

I bought a little here today for two of my kids.

Their only 4yrs and 6 months old, so I was just holding out for a little bit.

If anyone likes to look at one of the voodoo indicators, here's a chart with the MACD showing CSCO as a buy.
