If you have access to bloomberg there is an interview with Jim Condon CEO of cybercash. The interviewer(cnbc) brings up a topic of debt. Condon makes it very clear that CYCH is debt free.

With no debt and a large institutional following, it's a pretty safe bet that CYCH is a good long term hold.

WebCatalog and WebMerchant Support Cybergold Micropayments
March 10, 1999

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE) via NewsEdge Corporation -- WebCatalog, Pacific Coast Software's popular eCommerce package, has been updated to include integrated support for Cybergold's micropayment services ( cybergold.com.

Currently, WebCatalog and WebMerchant (WebCatalog's payment processing module) support credit card payment verification using ICVerify, CyberCash, and MacAuthorize. The addition of Cybergold's merchant services means that Web sites selling products that range in price from under a dollar to thousands of dollars can maximize their profit by processing low-cost products through Cybergold and higher-priced products through their standard merchant account.

WebCatalog's flexibility and power are also being used as the backbone for Cybergold's MultiMediaMart. "We are very pleased Cybergold chose WebCatalog to power the MultiMediaMart and hope to highlight many sophisticated features of the product," said Grant Hulbert, V.P. of Engineering for Pacific Coast Software. "Our product works well in situations such as this where the requirements may change and grow over time."

Web sites selling inexpensive products will appreciate two of WebCatalog's key features -- speed and value. Product catalogs ranging from a few items to hundreds of thousands of items are served equally well with unparalleled speed. WebCatalog's technically advanced multi-threaded database searching means that a modestly priced Web server can service the same number of customers, with the same performance, as other products requiring more expensive hardware.

Existing WebCatalog customers who own WebMerchant may upgrade their package to include Cybergold support with minimal changes to their site.

Founded in 1989, Pacific Coast Software is headquartered in San Diego. Their flagship eCommerce product, WebCatalog, was first released in 1995 and continues to lead the market in performance and value. WebCatalog supports most major platforms and retails for $2,495. The company also offers clients custom software solutions, and consulting services for individual or corporate needs. Pacific Coast Software can be reached at 619/675-1106, or pacific-coast.com.
