Halpin, Head Rat at CPU, did say CompUSA.com will be set up as
a separate company within 2 months, a month ago.
But since everything else Halpin said during conference call
was a bald face lie, who knows whether Halpin was just lying
about CompUSA.com . CompUSA did hire someone for CompUSA Direct
recently, maybe this guy is Halpin's nephew. When rats like Halpin
are CEO , nepotism tends to run rampant.

sure is a nice day

As mentioned by mutual fund manager, there is real value in CPU at the current price. I think they are doing all the things you mentioned. This stock will definitely going up again.

Snow Shoe,

I can not address your question on the SAP, except to say that I must be a SAP to have bought this guys bull. I just don't have enough knowledge about this and hopeful someone who does can cover it.

Your ideas about value are correct. If I didn't believe that they would turn it around in 6-18 months, I would have sold it all today. Instead I just dumped about 40% as I could not tolerate any further slip.

I will add it back if a clear uptrend starts and there are enough near term events to keep it moving.

Wish I had better answers, but I have to question everything I know about the company after yesterday little bomb.

Good Luck

Thurston

the spin-off of cpu direct will add to the bottom line since it is losing money, this quarter it is projected to be .05 a share.
