got your post since it was directed to me but you put it on the infrequently used thread....I find it interesting, hadn't heard of short restriction this way....but know nothing about this...

I always appreciate your posts.....You might have better luck with a response if you post this on the other thread...

GUMM wasn't available in late Jan through Datek who IMO is the best of the online brokerages for short players. I did get GUMM through Olde and the broker used had to get the shares through their Detroit office (I think).
I just checked GUMM on Datek's quote screen and it still carries the NS (no short) designation. BTW, when is GUMM going to release 98 results?
