Lee, re Who is going to buy those expensive toys if there aren't high paid employees to shop in a few months? Didn't you know that's what credit cards are for? IBD- Outstanding consumer credit climbs at 13.5% annualized rate. Consumer credit rose in Jan at its fastest rate in more than 3 yrs. Total outstanding credit reached $1.316 trillion. Consumer creidt was 6.5% over last January. That's the fastest growth since Mar 97. Auto, revolving and "other" credit all rose.
