Luke,

If you've followed the FORE thread for a couple of years, you'll know that I indulge in the occasional flaming of those who I feel represent the ignorance of investors.

Look at posts back from May of 97. Adam Sornoff, whose posts are now listed under the name Bandit, was spouting the same crap that we get from Jach and his ilk. Almost two years have past, and the situation really hasn't changed. I was getting blasted for selling shares at 15, and wondering how people could tolerate Adam's crap, much less follow his advice.

SI is a great place for exchange of information and opinion. But why should anyone have to listen to the continued ranting of why FORE is such a screaming buy, and CSCO should be shorted because highly paid investment analysts haven't got the slightest idea about the market? Or the constant unfounded predictions of where the stock will close at the end of the day? Or how it's impossible for a stock to go below a certain level? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know where the bottom is, and that's zero, not 12 1/2, and not 9.

Sure, I could just click next and hope for an intelligent post. But I can also respond to what I think is ignorant, naive, and annoying advice from people who likely have no actual funds at risk.

My apologies if I've offended you.
