Daniel,

Neither I or the WSJ article ever said or implied that Clinton was in charge of Mena, and you know it.

What the WSJ article implied is that Clinton was not interested in cleaning it up, because people he had connections with (law enforcement, local politicians and businessmen) had become implicated in it.

Dan Lasater, a personal friend of his, and campaign contributor, and Roger clinton went to jail for Cocaine distribution. Clinton subsequently pardoned Lasater. He also kept the State Medical examiner in his job for 3 years (until his 91 Presidential bid) after it was proven that this examner was responsible for false autopsy report to cover drug related murders.

You have a remarkably thin skin. I am amazed that you should have gone to all this trouble to put me in the wrong. I will not bother to show that you are off base, because I don't care to prolong this. You win. I am a hypocrite and a fool. You are the very model of even- handedness, fair- mindedness, and integrity. We are very fortunate to have been in your company. Thank you, Daniel, for setting us straight on so many occasions. We deserve whatever we receive at your hands.
