re "deal...bigger and better"...

what i find interesting is most analysts comments are dwelling on the impact to ibm earnings...and the stock is surging...seems the spin is ibm has the edge...when they wake up they will realize that dell is not planning to bury and never use the technology and components purchased from ibm...but further develop their already strong marketing and product offerings...me thinks the advantage dell...it will impact their bottom line much more...ibm saw dell gaining market share in the pc business...realized they can't fight them...better to join them...ibm in what they find profitable, dell in their arena..dell will surge when the analysts think it thru...cheers ed a.
