Ali-

Great to get a post from you and I hope are well and doing fine.

Now I think the market will pull back a bit except that this time of course is different to other times as it always is but here are some points:-

1. Japan looks very much like something is finally stirring there. To get the no 2 economy back on steam removes any downward potential on the Dow/Naz especially as its been so long coming.

2. Germany is in a real mess and one thing they really need is lower interest rates but the head of the so called European Central Bank wants to appear to be a hard man and so he won't give in to politcial pressure. Just wait till he gets a few hundred thousand unemployed Germans joining extreme right wing organizations and then come banging on his door in the middle of the night. They'll give him soem EU to think about!!!! and then sooner or later he will reduce rates and the market will belive that that is Germany's solution!!! Some hopes but the markets will believe it.

3. Telco M&A activity is going to reach fever pitch this year and WCII and wireless is on every serious players hit list. Just think how many IBs are pouring over target figures right now and WCII is right there up front. Anything could happen this year and even more so as we get into next year. IMHO you have to be in and holding.

4. An earlier post this evening referred to a potential change in the company's standing on the Street. That in my view will certainly happen after this annoucement which has got everyone including me thinking about exactly what is happening in the current Q as we sit!!!

5. There has recently been a steady stream of articles about BBFW in all the usual serious journals and web sites. This constant drip of very sexy publicity is raising the profile of this industry from a nerdy enthusiast type industry to a real money maker. There are just too many serious people talking about BBFW for the Street to ignore it.

6. It is almost economy independent. That is to say if the economy is bad well you better get your company to get WCII service to save money and get better facilities and if the economy os doing well then you better get WCII so you can be more competitive with the better services they are offering.

7. Overseas is good becuase very few overseas carriers have any experrience with BBFW you know you need hardwar and software that are proved to be able to send out monthly bills!! Wireless technology is great but not if you can't send correct bills out at the end of the month. WCII has all the experience and the best experience in this indistry. No-one has better!!!

Anyway thats just my humble opinion.

Best regards,

L

Let's see - I bought my first shares of Winstar at 5 on 5/13/93 - closing in on 8 years. Guess I'm taking Paul's buy and hold strategy to the extreme.
