art,

IBM, as it stands today, is much better positioned than it was two years ago when Jules began to short this stock. (Correct me if I am off on the timing).

No longer just a mainframe/hardware/service vendor, today's Big Blue is a serious software/internet company (in part) which should command a much higher P/E multiple than a conventional box company. Got to roll with the waves, friend!

artslott. Re: "Where have you been?" I usually post these ideas privately, 'cause it's a waste of time to try to change people's minds.

Re: "In the long term he may be proved right." It won't mean much to me since I don't own IBM, but it may mean more to you, which is why I wrote that post. Good luck with your investments.
