Yes, I agree. I think 3 forces are at work here, for today:

1) Market tech rebound.....We participate like everyone else.

2) Semi conference next weeks from MSDW. Buy-in before possible news.

3) INTC buys LEVL, the "first" INTC fabless company purchase in their new line of telecom/data networking. Is TXCC next for their broader product line?. INTC wants this business bad, as it is their next high-growth area, and CPU's aren't anymore.

I view the spurt of activity in Comm IC companies after the INTC/LEVL merger as a result of a perceived validation of this space. Most broad line money managers think of no more than three stocks when they hear "semiconductor"--Intel, TI, and Applied Materials(sometimes Micron). The Comm IC space has been a niche which is clearly growing in importance to the semi as well as the financial community. Intel just provided a defining moment for us.
