Interesting... I have always used MS Dean Witter...and I have opened a very small Suretrade account to practice my "shorting skills". I can see that Suretrade, although not bad...does not allow me to have the level of instant control I seek. I can see your perspective....now what place would you recommend for someone who wants Level II and the ability to execute quickly online? 1) I want to be able to manage my longs (mainly AOL/MSFT/DELL/CMGI) with strong stops....guarding my capital and being able to rebuy at "dips", 2) I want to be able to participate in shorting (therefore need speed and availability of stocks to short). I appreciate your comments, and also any recommendations for a "training place"...I can see that I will need some education on how to easily read these systems.... smile...Mary
