Contract Awards Wednesday, February 17, 1999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Irvine Ranch Water District Y2k <Picture: award-winning-tiny.gif (1639 bytes)> 2/16/99 -- CANUS has been awarded the contract for the Y2k Embedded Processor Program at the Irvine ranch water district in So. California. Our scope of work includes full task responsibility for the Y2k Embedded processor compliance including assesment and testing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PP&L Y2k Audit 1/26/99 -- CANUS has been awarded a contract to perform Y2k Embedded Processor Program reveiw and Audit for Pennsylvania Power and Light (PP&L). A team of CANUS corporation Y2k personnel will visit PP&L to assess their Y2k Program in February 1999. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Allied Signal (JPL) Testing Contract 1/14/99 -- CANUS has been awarded a contract to perform Y2k Embedded Processor compliance testing for Allied Signal on two(2) of JPL's international stations, Australia and Spain . ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Y2K Testing for Hyperion Plant 1/14/99 -- CANUS Corporation through our agreement with TAVA/R.W. Beck will perform Y2k embedded processor testing at the Hyperion Sanitation Plant in LA County, CA.. Staffing of this project will begin late Jan. 99 and should last through 1999. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fiber Optics-Air Blown Fiber 1/14/99 -- CANUS Corporation has been awarded a contract to supply and install Futureflex Air Blown Fiber Optic System for the new First American Financial Co. Complex in Southern California. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PG&E Electrical Services Contract 1/5/99 -- CANUS has just signed a renewal to our Electrical Testing Contract with Pacific Gas and Electric Co. Under this contract CANUS will continue to provide Electrical, Relay and Substation testing support to Pacific Gas and Electric Co. for 1999. We presently have approximately 15 technical specialist assigned to this project and expect that number to increase in 1999. Beck will perform Y2k embedded processor testing at Several LA Water Facilities in Southern California ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fiber Optics 12/10/98 -- CANUS Corporation has been awarded a contract to supply Fiber Optic System components to the USAF Anderson AFB in Guam. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Y2K Testing for First Energy 12/10/98 -- CANUS Corporation through our agreement with TAVA/R.W. Beck will perform Y2k embedded processor testing at First Energy's facilities in Ohio. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Allied Signal (JPL) Testing Contract 11/2/98 -- CANUS has been awarded a contract to perform Y2k testing for Allied Signal. This contract involves Y2k compliance testing for PLC's at three(3) JPL sites under Allied Signals responsibility ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PECO Y2k Services Contract Y2k Services at PECO expands 10/18/98 -- CANUS was notified recently that our Y2k efforts at PECO will be expanded. Currently providing Y2k program services to the Nuclear and T&D Departments, we will now provide services to the Fossil Generation group. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PG&E Y2k Services Contract CANUS starts staffing PG&E Y2k 10/18/98 -- We have begun staffing the Y2k project at PG&E. Although this has been a slow starter we hope to expand our service scope soon. Y2K Teaming Agreement with TAVA/R.W. Beck Teaming Agreement to add capability for CANUS Clients and opportunity for CANUS Employees. 9/1/98 -- CANUS Corporation and TAVA/R.W. Beck, both leaders in Y2k Embedded Processor Technology, have joined forces to offer a complete Y2k solution to the Power, Water and Petrochemical Industries. The specific details of the team were not available at this time, but the two companies have agreed to work together to meet the industries needs in the Y2k Embedded Processor Program. TAVA/R.W. Beck, is expected to offer equipment Inventory and Assessment, utilizing their component database software, while CANUS Corporation will provide expertise and personnel in the Program Development/Auditing, Training, Testing and Contingency Planning.
