***OT**Hi Mitch--the reason I asked is from time to time, with certain real audio files my plug ins don't load properly (this happens on both macs I own but only periodically, never with my wintel portable), frequently, by changing browsers or by opening real player before attempting to open the audio file, things work fine. Thought perhaps a possibility for dd. If anyone has a solution to above, I'd love to hear it.
