I don't know much about technicals, but it appears to me that Qwests recent doldrums are tied to low volume. It seems to me that is a good thing as there is really not that much selling pressure, simply some backing and filling.

I guess we will need to wait until next month when the earnings come out, unles something happens in between.

Thanks for those links. Wired story, while dated makes a great intro read for anyone interested in the future of telecom. Reading this 10 months after first publication makes me even more confident in the Qwest future.

I loved the Wired story as well. Thanks for posting the link.

I've been long since the mid-40s and have added more in the 50s. Would anybody care to hazard a guess as to what will happen when QWST announces the completion of their 18,000 network?
