RGM Communications contracts with Medinah Energy

Vancouver, BC, March 6, 1999 … RGM Communications Inc. (RGM) is pleased to announce that RGM has signed an agreement, as of March 1, 1999, to represent Medinah Energy, Inc. with regard to shareholders, investors and the investment community.

Medinah Energy Inc., (trading United States OTC - Bulletin Board, Symbol - MDIN) is an emerging mining exploration company with their assets in the resource rich country of Chile. The Company has acquired a major interest in the historic gold mining district of Andacollo, Chile, in addition to a large group of very prospective claims just North of Santiago, Chile.

The first claim group in their "Santiago properties" package to be explored extensively is the Altos de Lipangue porphyry gold/copper property located 40 kilometers North of Santiago, Chile. Currently Medinah is currently conducting a 1,500 meter diamond drill exploration program.

As of March 4, the third drill hole in this program was completed and bottomed at 297 meters (974.4 feet) in a highly silicified hydrothermal breccia. At last report, mineralization was continuous from 93 meters (305.1 feet) and was occurring as veins and blebs of massive pyrite and chalcopyrite up to 1 inch across. Large well-formed quartz crystals are also present and are encrusted with gold associated chalcopyrite. Hematite is also present and indicates a positive change from one type of alteration to another. Core assays results for the first three diamond drill holes will be released after the results have been verified and correlated.

The Altos de Lipangue property, 80% owned by Medinah Energy, Inc., is located approximately 40 kilometers North of Santiago, Chile, in the heart of a historic gold district. The property, located at an altitude of 2,000 meters, is close to modern infrastructure and potable water.

Interesting rumor from the ARP thread....if this pans out would be disheartening IMO..in that I already have Barrick out of Medinah's future for the foreseeable future, and who ever they would team up with if either Newmont or Homestake would also remain out of future for quite sometime..just my call!!!! But then maybe the offer is for Medinah at $ 6 - 7 ......Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Rumour of new offering to ARP for $6-7/share.
Received this update on weekend edition of newsletter I get which is very reliable and usually only posts on companies that are ready to move.

Rumor on the street is that another major is looking to join Barrick as an
investor. Market seems to be giving some credibility to the rumor as we
have seen the stock move higher over the last week or so. Price expectation
for an investment in ARP is $6 or $7 a share.

If rumour true, should be an interesting week as Senior member of Barrick reported with the acquisition of Sutton, that they had the money to do both the Sutton and ARP purchase.
Good luck everbody, John Boyce
