Well, I don't know anything about rumors but you guys are barking at the wrong branch on the ULBI tree. The action is in the 9v batt. I don't know anything about the how good or bad their (or VLNC's) LP batts are, or whether anybody will buy them. What I do know is that ULBI's 9 volts sales are going up rapidly in my area. The Radio Shack near my house had sales that were up 300% for Feb over Jan and Dec! Another Radio Shack told me that people were buying 20 at a time. I don't know about that, but from watching their inventory on the rack they seem to have a pretty good turn over. All the salesmen are very positive about the battery. Even one Radio Shack that has low sales of ULBI's batt the salesman said that it was a very good value. He also said that they were in a poor neighborhood and buyers don't do the math and buy on price alone. When calling ULBI they tell you that they continue to be backlog with orders, I guess this means more law suites. (I bet you guys wish you had a few of those kinds of law suites.) And this is with no advertising. Whenever they can get they heads above water, hopefully with excess capacity by factor of three, we will see a nice ad in Popular Science and/or Popular Mechanics touting the 9v at Radio Shack and LP cell phone batteries on ULBI's web page. Followed up with a similar ad in National Geographic or New Yorker or Discover. I told a neighbor of my about the law suite, backorders, and free falling stock price, he thought it was very good news an bought some stock at $5/sh. O well, one man's junk is another man's treasure. Anyway, if they do get an OEM order for their LP batt. it will probably mean operating in the red longer because they will need to buy lots of raw materials and they will want to start building additional lines.
