Rande, William & All, I have been doing for the past 6 months just what you have described in your Timing Plays posts. About 6 months ago, I decided that I had neither the time nor the inclination to follow so many, many issues. I composed a list of stocks that popped well on news and called it Proven Runners. The list at that time was: IFLY ALMI CNKT GERN SEVL MARG BFLY ASTM BNYN I have since added: OSFT PARA EAST ECHO IMON I watch mainly this list (I don't completely tune out other stocks, though) for signs of strength and try to find good entry points. I will attest as to the effectiveness of this type of position trading; my portfolio is up 45% in that 6 months. Y'all keep up the great work. I learn something everyday from your exchanges. Ken
