As I said previoulsy, Mr. Budd has to do things and quickly to set himself as the new leader for ABTX. He needs to do it quickly and with some 'meat' to it. I believe you just got some.

Mr. Budd has filed a form 4, which is used when an insider buys stock of the company. The form 4 is usually filed and submitted the month following when the stock was purchased.

In this case, Mr. Budd purchased the stock on March 1. In normal cases, he would complete his from 4 and submit it to the SEC early in April, he has until April 10th.

However, Mr. Budd submitted his form 4 as soon as he bought his stock. He did this, soley, to inform the investors of his belief in the long term prospects of ABTX-IMHO. He also bought a lot of shares.

This is a very good sign for anyone long the stock and wondering. There is nothing better than an insider-the CEO/Chairman, buying the stock, when there is fear of a financial mess. He, more than anyone, knows what is going on, and he is putting his money into the company. THIS IS VERY GOOD-AND A SIGN THAT THINGS SHOULD IMPROVE.

I believed and have said, the shorts had to cover right away, now that the new management team was in place. The shorts had a 'field day' as long as the past management team were there. They also knew this quarter could be much better from a cash position as ABTX sells from inventory.

Now they needed to cover, so they drove the stock down and made some extra money. The volume the last 2 days was them covering-IMHO.

I do not predcit this stock going to $12 as some have said. It should start to recover, and trade close to book value-or maybe a little more--around $5.50-$6.00.

The next step for ABTX is to announce how they will deal with the convertibles, and the quarter results.

Good cash flow in the quarter and a relief to the investors that the convertibles will not be dilutive will be EXTREMELY positve. The strock should then hold above $5 and start heading higher-maybe to $7.

The final phase will be some agreements that validates their bio tech. If they can market it, then they can make some more money, which they desperately need to. Good technology that can not be commercialized is a waste of time. Look for some signals or announcments to help you understand the potential.

I hope this helps.

IMHO

Vestor:

I rarely, if ever, buy a stock I've IDed as a good short, even for a trade, it's just not worth the risk. SMTK is a great recent example of why I don't do it.

Believe me, if ABTX doubles I won't be disappointed. I'll happily sell short as many shares as I can up there.
