Well, of course that makes sense--or at least it explains what happens.

I think that just possibly a GTC order placed during active trading may get relayed to more than one exchange. I don't know. I am just guessing from the speed with which these seem to get executed. But it may just have to do with the way the markets are moving at the moment.

Thank you John I understand now. another way Schwab does not care if I'm getting the best price as long as they get the commission. Sounds like good service.<g>
