Toy,

One article posted here on SI Friday mentioned that NDSv8 wouldn't be available for 12-18 months, while the Barron's article makes it sound like a release this week. Which is it? Is the company releasing their first version of Beta or at least announcing release date on Monday? Thanks for clearing up what appears to be a bit of confusion on the part of Media.

BTW, the speculation in the articles was that NDSv8 can manage up to 500 Million objects and run a search on query in 3 to 5 seconds. While estimates of MSFT Active Directory are for only 10 Million objects. Wow, that would be a 50:1 advantage over MAD, and NDS would have cross-platform capability. I think Schmidt is truly going to win this directory service battle. =;-) Gosh, I love this game!

Regards,

QuadK
