ALL - Great discipline posts

I have a question myself, being new to daytrading. Are there any good techniques for someone like myself to daytrade when I cannot watch the market all day? I realize that to most of you here this is your full-time job, but I am not in a position to make daytrading my full-time job. Are people like myself better off with short to long term investing as opposed to daytrading?

I haven't been very successful in daytrading so far. I'm sure it's a matter of discipline that I do not yet have.

Thoughts and opinions would be appreciated.

MMk GIC

GIC is best known simply for making set-top boxes for cable TV. A lot of their growth potential is in cable modems. I believe that GIC and SFA are the two dominant companies in the set-top box market.
