US Monetary Control by Fed:

Thanks for your response Bob.

I am of course concerned about whether the US owns any gold...but what appears the root source of the problem is that the Federal Reserve has been given control of American monetary policy.

The FRB is not a gov't organization, but has monopoly rights to issue money. If the US is a democracy, "for the people by the people", then why isn't the money issued "by the people"?

I am just starting to research this, but what I have found so far is very depressing.

I don't have any reason to doubt that the gold does exist. But I am concerned that it is no longer the property of the people. Is it the property of the FRB? The FRB is owned by a cabal of banks.....both foreign and American......

I suggest we all start to think about this together.
