Good points brought out on that last post. Too many have equated being poor in spirit to that of being poor in the naturals.

?????

Poor in naturals? What do you mean by poor in naturals....
We are not all blue eyed and faired skinned. We are also do not speak the same language. Do you have a Credit Card, do you have and drive a Car, do you rent or own a house, do you go to the movies, do you buy your children toys, do you buy groceries, do you pay for utilities, do you have a TV, how about a radio, better yet do you own a computer? Are not all these things of the FLESH. Get rid of it all and give all you have to the poor and then you will be more in tune of who God is.... I find that many who go to church have a better than attitude with regards to others and rather than get into a complicated explanation I will leave it at that. Sure Christ is your focus but we ALL including myself fall short of truly representing him so rather than representing him I chose to allow him to represent ME to the father when I die. I will not put myself in the position of representing him for NO ONE other than his SON had the right to do so. Expressing a belief in Christ is one thing remember YOU depend on him He does not depend on YOU. The battle is HIS thus his death and gift on the Cross. Not ours with the shedding of life all in the name of Christ and the dogmatic statements from some.

I remember when you and Emile related to the Jews suffering with regards to them not receiving Christ. You equate torment on this earth as not being right with God. Do yourself a favor and read the following;

15: And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
16: The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
17: And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
18: Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.
19: There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21: And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

22: And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23: And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24: And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25: But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
