Which Windows 2000?

Business? Personal? Professional? Cowboy? Country/Western Edition Beta 4? Barber and Hair Stylist Edition?

Is it 30 million lines now ... 40 million ... 50 million?

The world has moved on. Read Barron's.

Everyone has a three year lead on MSFT. Things are changing faster than MSFT can copy them.

The world wants open systems. They don't care about integrated software from one vendor. They want the best tool for the job. Interleaf 6 makes Word look like a crayon. MSFT can't touch Adobe's products.

SUNW has the right vision. MSFT insists on trying to tell the customer what he REALLY wants.

Why don't you guys just make Windows 95 stable?

The only smart MSFT employees I've met are RETIRED. And they hate the place.

It's good to CHECK the rearview mirror ... but take the sunshade down.

Hey, T2, we obviously have another "Toy" on board with "Rusty". This guy is on a "Mission from God" about Linux. You are wasting your time posting to him, IMO.

MSFT will present the Windows 2000 Beta3 and the new Office 2000 on the CEBIT computer fair starting on March 18th in Hannover Germany. CEBIT is the biggest computer fair in the world. I expect the stock to run up quite a bit before this event.

Also read in a computer magazine about some of the new features of Windows 2000. Boy, that sounded very impressive !! Everything the industry was waiting for has been put in there. If this thing works it will be a very hard nut for Linux and the other Unixes to crack !! No wonder they have so much fear that they needed this trial we have now. As soon as I finised reading the Windows 2000 feature article I decided to buy more MSFT. IMO the product will be a total blow out for sure ! Any thoughts ?
