I've enjoyed the debate on this thread the last few days. It's nice to see some contrarian views, really makes the brain work.

There is good reason to be worried when an OEM partner that is responsible for 20% of NN's revenue is "re-inventing" itself. I agree with you whole-heartedly Doug, that the NN-Siemens alliance has been looked at seriously and possibly changed somewhat due to Siemens latest decision to be a player in the data networking space.

IMO, NN should be safe for the short term. Revenues may even increase in the next couple of quarters, if some significant wins materialize.
From here, the relationship will either grow to a point where Siemens buys NN or windle down to where Siemens develops,or buys another ATM company.

Please spare me the "No one could possibly make ATM products better than NN" spiel. It's possible, and when one looks at the cost of taking out NN, $ 7 Billion is a lot of RD money for one product.
