IMHO, the majority of the political power in the country is in the business of fleecing the flock for the profit and power of a few. It's inevitable; capitalistic theory coupled with power of political office and anything but the strongest values, morals(and the no concern for being reelected)almost certainly results in a politician being swayed and influenced, in various degrees, by the lure of signifigant personal gain. Throw in some "Good ol' boy" mentality and a little pressure here and there from the mob, cartels, middle east countries, etc. and there isn't much room on the agenda for the good of the common people. Very strong feelings here, I could go on, but I relinquish my soapbox to hear other views. robb
