A HOT TIP ! THE COMPANY YOU'RE EMPLOYED BY !
Many years ago I read somewhere that the best company to invest in is the company you are working for. ( assuming they are publicly traded ) The article went on to say that probably no one knows the ins and outs of the company like you do. We know ahead when our markets are soft or going to boom, we know when trouble is imminent or big deals are on the table, we know when expansion is looming or layoffs are coming etc.etc.etc. and we know this probably before the analysts do and certainly before the investment community knows. In a sense we have intimate insider info. ( technically not ) For years now I have bought and sold the company I work for many times and can honestly say that I have never lost money on any of those trades. Sometimes it was small profits on the predictable sine wave of stock performance in the hum drum daily routine of business as usual. Occaisionally it was hum dingers of wins on major happenings in the company. Perhaps you should look in your own back yard now and then for a sure fired investment. You can't get better DD than this. In the course of your investigating stocks and following threads etc. you inevitably will run across people that you respect their judgement and analytical talent, they may work for credible, serious companies and are privy to the insider type of knowledge that I spoke of. Would it not be reasonable to network with several of these people and share your insight as the opportunities arise in your respective companies. Now you have several excellent irons in the fire and probable wins coming at you on a rotating basis. Saving this URL to forward to your potential network of collaborators will help explain your invitation to them to join up with you. I hope you'll give this idea (that works for me) some serious thought and I wish you the best of luck. Comments always welcome. .....Condor

Point well taken, Jason. . .until then, what most do is a "this-subject only".

"swing Rande"
"SAM"
"beaten down"
etc.

or use the stock symbol on a this-subject-only search.

We really haven't had much in the way of picks lately, due to: 1. the market on small caps and 2. the short spies. And that is why we are using some alternative strategies.

Thanks again for your suggestion. . .will work on it.

Jason, another way to keep up if you can't read all the posts is to do key word searches with the search tool at the bottom of the page. Rande spends a lot of time (his free time) contributing to his threads and answering PMs and email. Somehow he even finds time for DD and finding new issues to follow. We stand to profit more if we find ways help Rande and william help themselves. Just my $.02.
