dwane, since the prob has occurred since installing communicator 4.5, i'd recommend the two upgrades that i saw being suggested on the netscape 4.5 user group. they said (if you're running win95) to install winsock2 microsoft.com the release notes for winsock2 say to install msdun13 first. microsoft.com i see you have dun1.2. be sure during dun1.3 install that if you encounter any version conflicts that you always save the newer file, i.e, click yes when asked if you want to keep an original newer file. also get all the release notes and/or readme files prior to downloading. since installing these two upgrades, communicator 4.5 has run sweet for me. good luck, mark
