I willingly would drink horse urine or anything else to avoid the horrors of menopause and associated depression! Been there and done that. I have read the terrible stories on Feelings about the conditions of pregant mares bred just to get this hormone. I feel very strongly that this should be regulated and any abusive acts made illegal and heavily fined. But I also believe that women benefit (and consequently their men) and that we sometimes are more emotionally responsive to the plight of animals than we are to humans.
If the procedures can be carried out humanely, then that should be done. Some women seem to go through menopause easily, and I am glad for them, but others find it a truly awful, debilitating and emotionally overwhelming time of life, and need all the help they can get!
SO hand me the horse tinkle and a chaser of Chardonnay.
