Paul-- As a long suffering holder of Southland Corp. (SLCM), I would like to suggest that the timing may be now to begin a position. Yes I know, it's a penny stock, and I really don't like the pennies much. But... the company has caught the eye of the day traders, often a first step in a company's turn-around. There is serios name brand recognition with '7-11', the largest convenience store franchise in existance. I've been wrong so far on this one, but I contend that its roughly akin to buying Chrysler in the doom and gloom (pre-Iacocca). Regards, GOOFI Paul
