Here you are, Anthony. I assure you I will not have my freedom of speech stifled. I also will assure you I will never again post on your thread, unless I am invited to do so. Although I have not always agreed with your tactics, I have to admit it was unfair to post on your thread. I, for one, respect the effort you have put into it, and it was wrong of me to attack you on your own thread. I am truly sorry. Call it a moment of weakness. As for SI, Yahoo, or any other place, we both know that anyone who asserts anything that is open to dispute is fair game. I expect from you that if I hype or spout opinions that are open to question you will attack them, and that if you do the same I will take issue with the same. Let's take the high ground here. Believe it or not, I have respect for you as a trader. You are intelligent, and I must admit I have admired your audacity at times. Nevertheless, if we are on opposite ends of a trade or investment, you cannot expect me to fail to make a case for my side. I will promise you this, and this is a proposal: we can go on SI, or Yahoo, or wherever else, and disagree, and at times vehemently, but shall we agree to treat each other with respect from now on? That is my offer, and I make it without reservation. This means that we will fairly and respectfully dispute each other's positions and comments, but that we will rise above name-calling and threats. It's not too much to ask, and I will admit that perhaps I have read you wrong. It is only that in my opinion you have been very quick to attack those who are on the other side of a trade to that which you have taken. I will also be the first to admit that I am not guiltless in that respect. I am posting this message publicly in an effort to make clear to all that I feel this personality conflict serves neither of us, nor the rest of the day trading community, and I would like to do my part to end it here and now. If you agree, please tell me so, and we will go further, with true respect. For my part, that entails healthy, and at times passionate, dispute, but nevertheless, always dispute with fairness and honor. I hope you will agree this is the right thing to do - for both of us and others with whom we come into contact as we pursue our goals as participants in a field I know we both cherish. Who knows? Perhaps even we might be on the same side of a trade one of these days. Then again, I like to go long, and you prefer the short side, so we'll have to see <g>.
