AMD's Am29050

AMD is abandoning the 29050. Honeywell has licensed the design for in-house production since we use it in several of our flight computers.

Ron - Re: "AMD's Am29050, IDT's RC32134, and quite probably National Semi's NS32VF100 are RISC based, and I haven't heard any of them announce Merced plans. (Yet :-))"

AMD and NSM have long abandoned their 29xxx and 32xxx RISC programs.

Isn't IDT's Risc chip a MIPS-based chip ?

If so, I'll lump that into the SGI category, since SGI used to own MIPs.
