Well, now we're getting somewhere!

I know this topic was probably discussed ad nauseum in the early stages, but I'm stirring it up again in light of the fact that we are close to actual deployment.

Another point to consider is that Wave will not be able to command a 25% fee on all things flowing thru the meter. Wave already states there are volume discounts for content providers who generate more than 10,000/month in sales. I'm sure the bigger the player, the sweeter the deal is. I believe that eventually Wave will pocket a very small percentage of the sale (2-3%) similar to Visa or MC. So, we shouldn't build our models with anything higher than a 5-10% fee.

SS, if you can comment on this, please give us some guidance, maybe I'm way off base.

Oh, I'm not worried about this number, E-Commerce will one day lose the E and be just commerce again, and thus the only way to do business. Any company that can capture a fraction of a percent will do nicely.

BTW, does anyone know what the software side ESD solutions cut is on a sale?
