If you feel like telling me what you bought and when, I'll review it w/ my "coach"--we tend to work by looking at examples of what people on SI are doing, and sometimes at options montages--I've dabbled a little bit but with the simple strategy of selling a put (leaps at this point--for safety because I'm new at this) on a stock I own and am bullish on and then using the premium to go long the common--do this during selloff dips when premiums are high for writing, and because stock is about to bounce back. This strategy is what edamo uses on Dell thread, had profit of 275% on his portfolio last year with this simple strategy. Never have to worry about margin call, can always re-position, gives you "free $" to buy stocks you like thus building portfolio faster. I.E. Dell after earnings upset, or MSFT of late would be good too. My two favorite stocks. I haven't gotten into buying calls at all. Wnat to learn each strategy thoroughly before I move on.
