Rocket Man,

This is all very silly. The recent press release that a few people seem to be incensed about is in reality a non issue. While the writer emphasized pornography and may have misstated some facts, I would not be so quick as to judge this one piece slander, rather, perhaps just free speech. Press releases such as that one could be bullish for Starnet, in that they call attention to the company.

Slandering on the Internet is best corrected with what Starnet just did, a rebuttal. Courts may award damages, however, actually collecting on judgements is an entirely different matter. Slander away folks!<g>

Rocket Man, Someone suggested we consider threatening formal legal action as a last resort. Also, Dean7 on the Raging Bull board has contacted one of the Vancouver Sun's reporters involved in this story, and said the reporter, Jim Beatty, was not very knowledgeable of Starnet but seemed open to learning more. This opens the possibility we may see some objective reporting. I'm willing to back off until Dean7 speaks with the reporter this coming week.
