How are the KRUZ negotiations with International Hospitality proceeding? Has IWIN stock been halted since February 24? Has IWIN management jumped ship? IWIN=ULOSE International Hospitality Inc - International Hospitality receives payment demand International Hospitality Inc IWIN.U Shares issued 16,828,285 1999-02-24 close $0.1 Friday Mar 5 1999 Mr. Ron Sheppard reports International Hospitality has received a notice from Montreal Trust Co. of Canada, the trustee of its outstanding 12.5 per cent subordinated debentures, declaring the outstanding principal and accrued interest on the debentures to be due and payable immediately. Interest payments on the debentures have been in default since June 1998. International Hospitality owes approximately $19.5-million (U.S.) on the debentures, which are unsecured. Robert Barnett has replaced Karen Weaver, who resigned as the company's chief financial officer. Mr. Barnett, a director of the company, is a resident of Toronto and qualified as a chartered accountant in England. Previously, he was the vice-president finance and chief financial officer of Pembridge Inc., a financial services group which managed insurance companies in Canada and the U.S., which was recently sold to the Allstate Corp. International Hospitality is surprised and disappointed that Montreal Trust has chosen to use its discretion now to demand payment after waiting since June 1998. The trustee has admitted that he was not aware of last week's press release by the company announcing a change in the management of International Hospitality.
