Barrons' cover story this week is on Novell. They unabashedly harp on this company with trailing earnings of $.29 whose stock is trading at $20.00 as being a great bargain. A P/E of 40 plus is nothing when many in internet related companies are at 60 plus (eg MSFT even with all its Federal anti-trust problems). Moreover, they say, it is likely to nearly double its earnings this coming year (calendar 1999). They assure us that it will be at $30 by the end of the year. Sound familiar? Why do you suppose that I posted this on this thread?
