mike, I agree that industries can benefit from a certain amount of competitive tough love -g- but it can go too far. As consumers we benefit from quality improvements and lower costs but as a nation we may pay a price due to the lack of economic opportunity for the middle classs and a weakened industrial base. We can buy low priced steel from Asia and Russia but is it worth losing our capacity to produce steel. If there is another war I would not want to rely on Communist steel or steel from the far east. There are pros and cons I just feel its been too one sided. Mike
