Hiya Folks! Great discussions going on here! -- I'm just getting back and I've only got a few moments for now. I will quickly share some info I've learned, from Marum's president... hopefully it'll help us to keep the facts straight. B^D Firstly, Jimsy my man (BTW, thanx for that very interesting info you shared), those graphics you spoke of: >> ..kudos to the Apex Geoscience for the insights into the spectacular geophysics stuff, tis quite amazing what the computer can do with the flight aeromagnetic data.<< - Marum president Rick Boulay responds:>> Not to take away anything from Apex but all of the graphics are generated in-house on a Marum workstation using ERMapper software. We work closely with Apex and get their raw data from the field and them email it back to them since they do not have time to generate anything except crude plots in the field.<< ;) = = = = = = = = Further, in querying Mr. Boulay with regard to how things were progressing, he was able to, and graciously did, share the following info (somewhat paraphrased/ trimmed by myself, accurately I hope!): >> ...While I can't talk about anything substantive since I don't have a report from the project manager, I can say that we have had our share of field problems. The logistics are challenging with equipment breaking through ice and the crews having to build roads up very steep hills. The latter is payback for having virtually no overburden. Because of the challenging logistics the project manager has not yet had a chance to send out any samples but we hear this should be taken care of very soon. Our timing for petrographic analysis is still 24-36 hours following receipt of the samples in Edmonton. Then the project managers will be able to issue a report if they so choose.<< >> ...The next two weeks should be easier going from a logistics viewpoint. Also, I hear that our decision to equip for both HQ and NQ was a good one. We apparently were able to telescope down to NQ in a couple of holes and thereby save the cost of abandonment and re-restarting at the same locations. We are about 8% over budget but still within the 25% contingency estimate. The weather is holding, nice and cold at night. The Target Drilling Inc. crew is performing very well. That's it for now.<< = = = = = = = = = = = = Thank you Rick-- surely appreciate the update! -- So, I guess we shareholders can surmise that market action of late hasn't been based on any lab leaks... Must run Amigos! Best of luck to us all, -j :> New Marum project website: mmu.simplenet.com - PS - A special thanks to Sudhir Khanna of "TRI," for your info!
