It said in a research note it had given Sprint and Western Wireless Corp. <WWCA.O> buy ratings. It said it had initiated Aerial Communications Inc. <AERL.O>, Powertel Corp. <PTEL.O>, and Omnipoint Corp. <OMPT.O> with neutral ratings. It did not provide further details.
