Vic: The MRPS technology will have so many different that the demand for their machines will be astounding. The car industry is just a start. Once other industries get involved the only problem MRPS will have is keeping up with demand. I hope they are ready for a major expansion

>>Re your 2633, you are correct that there are very unique applications to shipbuilding. I worked for the world's largest shipbuilder, and, believe me, checking out welds or bad metallurgy in the steel plates on any type of vessel is of utmost importance. Can this technology be used in this industry? I would assume so.<<

I see no reason why this technology cannot be used in all types of construction, wherever there might be structural weaknesses. In fact, once there is a body of evidence regarding its ability to detect various kinds of structural problems, I can imagine it would be mandated by regulators and insurance companies that ultrasound equipment be used.

Regarding the efficacy of this product, both Ford and GM have done extensive testing for MRPS before they put in large orders for the product.

EVERYONE ...PLEASE READ....VERY IMPORTANT !

Well I have read the posts here for the last few days concerning the "competetion" to MRPS..CTRL SYSTEMS. Before I go any further please read my post #2587 This describes the 3 Divisions of MRPS. Those of you who have an "Investors Package", please get it and follow along.

You will note that MRPS has a division called ULTRAPHONICS. This Division is involved primarily in selling The Ultraphonic Detector model # 111r to DISTRIBUTORS for industrial resale.

Guess what? CTRL Systems is a distributor for MRPS!! The Ultraphonic 101 is the same unit as MRPS Ultraphonic Model 111R. look at the pictures, the units are identical. MRPS made a smart move co-opting an existing industrial distribution network to sell their units for them. Saving $$$ in sales cost's, and obtaining rapid sales of these great units. CTRL is not the only distributor please see MRPS press release here: biz.yahoo.com

I hope that this clears up this misunderstanding and puts everyone's fears at rest. Please DO NOT call the companies to verify. We should have Dave Gore call MRPS and speak to Myles to confirm this information.

Take Care
