That's not what that tip is talking about:

Go into Internet Options (on the View menu in IE4 and under the Tools menu in IE5) and click on the Advanced tab. Scroll down the Browsing section. Select Browse in a New Process by clicking on the checkbox. Then click OK, close IE4, and restart it.

This is talking about the option you have of having Windows completely integrated with IE4 or not. Anyways, that's how I understand it. Maybe someone else knows better.

That segment also says that 98 may run slower if you choose to de-integrate. When I wrote my previous post, I thought they meant it the other way around -- i.e. Windows would run FASTER if you "browsed in a separate process".

The upshot is that having IE4 or 98 can add slowness to your machine if you choose to "browse in a separate process". But, probably 98 is slower than 95 on a slow machine either way you do it.

Hope this makes sense.
