I am a welding inspector in the construction/ power plant/ refinery field. The NDT non destructive testing field has been around a long time. Ultrasound is used extensivly inspecting welds, piping etc. The machines to do this are all over and manufactured by numerous companies. However, what MRPS does is a different part of this field. Their machines detect anomalies in moving parts, bearings, and can detect small leaks prior to catastrophic failure. The uses exist wherever there are pumps, motors (municipalities- sewer plants water plants/ power plants (pumps, motors) and the transportation field
This tool is something can be used by anyone , anywhere to save major dollars on maintenance. Thats where the money is for MRPS. They know their field are working it to their advantage.
Now lets get some answers to our financial questions and IB questions over the next month and see where we stand then.

Loooonggggg on MRPS

Andrew, Re your 2642, I just am really puzzled that this technology has not been commercialized before now. I have helped a few companies with new ideas and new technology go to patent attorneys to get help with getting their ideas patented. One thing that I would like to know is whether they have solidified the patent WORLDWIDE as well as in the United States. One of the fine points that many don't understand is that patents to be really solid need to be protected worldwide.
Unfortunately, as many of you well know, patents are "knocked off" in the Asian countries every day. There are manufacturing entities in the Far East, for example, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, etc. etc. that backward engineer many technologically advanced products.
Could this happen here? I hope not.
